Our dedicated Measurement Technology Development team at our Bochum site is offering a bachelor's/master's thesis on the following topic, to be started as soon as possible:
“Simulation of electrical system configurations in electric vehicles”
Your tasks:
Initial situation:
In electric vehicles (with pure battery or fuel cell drive), various on-board power supply configurations are possible in which our current and voltage sensors can be used. System simulation can be used to evaluate sensor requirements and identify new applications.
Analysis of various electrical system configurations in electric vehicles- Modeling of central components such as batteries, power electronics, and electric motors
- Development of an electrical system simulation (e.g., with MATLAB Simulink)
- Integration of current and voltage sensors into the vehicle electrical system simulation and evaluation of the results
Your qualifications:
- Student (m/f/d) in a bachelor's or master's degree program in electrical engineering
- Interest in system simulations and basic knowledge of various simulation tools
- Motivation, commitment, and ability to work independently
